The job
Scared patriots are hiding in the doorways of eleven real American districts. Walk close and they come running. Everyone who joins falls in behind you, in a line that follows exactly where you walk. Get them to the charter buses before the clock runs out.

Stand by a hiding place and they pour out to you, one after another. Whistle to bunch your line up tight.

Up to a hundred follow in your footsteps. Thread them through the streets and keep the locals off them: a threat that touches the line scatters it.

Bring the line home to the rally and watch them climb aboard. Rescue everyone and the district is cleared on the spot.
The map
Every district is a real neighbourhood, built from OpenStreetMap and laid over public-domain aerial photos. Same blocks, same alleys, same crosswalks: just a little grimmer.
The cast
Forty characters in all. Some you are here to save. Most you are here to avoid. One looks exactly like a patriot and never, ever counts.
Rescue enough and you win. Rescue everyone and you win with three stars. Get caught and, well, every ending has a punchline:
Sprint when you need to, whistle the line in close, and throw a smoke bomb to shake every chase at once. A few self-defences put attackers down; run out and the next one gets you.
Seconds left, enemies downed, and long lines all score, and a long line is worth more than the sum of its people. Beat your best time in every city.
